The project of December 13, 1981- We Remember!
Our school decided to participate in the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the introduction of martial law in Poland.
As part of the project organized by the Silesian Education Superintendent, "When human memory fades, the stones continue to speak", the aim of which is to prepare young people to consciously experience the 40th anniversary of the introduction of martial law in Poland, we plan the following tasks:
1. Screening of the film "Don't Take My Mom" - presenting the history of the Solidarity movement and Podbeskidzie Region, Śląsko-Dąbrowski and Częstochowa.
2. The young generation about "Solidarity" movement - execution of tasks:
- "40 years after martial law" - we will build a patriotic and historical corner in the school.
- "Martial law in the memories of our relatives" - we will participate in a literary competition.
- We will host an educational exhibition on the introduction of martial law in Poland, prepared by the Institute of National Remembrance.
- We will participate in the project summary - an intergenerational meeting.
3. Tasks for teachers:
-Discovering the history of the "Solidarity" movement - participation in lectures for history teachers, Polish language teachers, and interested teachers.
- Conducting educational activities
4. The celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the introduction of martial law will be held in the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Region at the ‘Wujek’ mine on December 17 or 20, 2021.
