In addition to participating in design workshops, they had the opportunity to visit Riga, Vilnius, Šiauliai, Klaipeda and Palanga. Project visit in Resende (Portugal)
On September 24, four students from the School Complex No. 1 in Tychy went to Resende in Portugal for a five-day workshop as part of the Erasmus + project. The main theme of the project is F.I.L.M. (Fantasy, Illusion, Learning, Making). On the first day, students got to know the partner school Agrupamento de Escolas de Resende, they visited the local museum and participated in chemical and origami workshops. On the second day, there was a trip to Leiriy, Fatima and Coimbra. In Leiria, students visited the m|i|mo museum of movement and image, where they had the opportunity to test the operation of many devices for displaying images from the early days of cinematography. The next item in the programme was visiting the famous Fatima. At the end of the tour, the group stopped in Coimbra, the city with the tenth oldest university in the world. The Douro River Valley, where Resende is situated, is famous in Portugal for its vineyards and thermal springs. On Wednesday morning, students had the opportunity to see for themselves the beneficial properties of the local waters. In the afternoon, they were received at the City Hall and took part in film workshops. The next day, they admired the charming hills of the Douro River from the deck of a sightseeing boat and learned about the production and transport of port wine at the Regua museum. The day ended with a glamorous dinner at school. During the first five nights, the students slept in the homes of their Portuguese colleagues, where they were met with exceptional hospitality. On the last day, the whole group went away to Porto. Exchange participants from 5 countries recorded their own TV broadcast there in a specially equipped recording studio at the Museum of Transport and Communication. After a short walk around the city, it was time to see the Portuguese hosts off. A few days were enough to make real friends with them,
That is why there was no end to the tears during goodbye.
