Morcinek in the educational project of the Polish Humanitarian Action
In September of this school year, our school concluded an agreement with the Polish Humanitarian Action (PHA) regarding the implementation of the project entitled "Humanitarian School". The aim of this project is to increase the skills of critical thinking and reflection on self-expressed opinions, and to increase the involvement of students and teachers in building activity in the field of global education. Despite the pandemic, our participation in the PHA project is proceeding as planned. Training and workshops are held as planned. The main beneficiaries of this project are students from class 1B, who have already participated in numerous webinars, discussions and online meetings with students from other schools. As part of the project, intensive training is carried out for teachers who are responsible for the implementation of the project at the school - Agnieszka Penkala and Barbara Zegrodnik. Our knowledge of global interdependencies and dangers related to the stereotypical view of the world has significantly increased and made us sensitive to the challenges and problems in the modern world. We will continue this extremely valuable project on our own as the Humanitarian School, as ‘Morcinek’ (as we call our school) is applying for this title by participating in this project. We appreciate the possibility of cooperating with the Polish Humanitarian Action.
